Key responsibilities include loading components, conducting quality inspections, troubleshooting minor technical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and IPC specifications.
 
Job Title: SMT Engineer / SMT Machine Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Operate, monitor, and maintain SMT line equipment (screen printers, pick-and-place, reflow ovens) to ensure efficient PCB production.
Setup & Changeover: Perform machine setup, changeovers, and component loading (feeders) according to work orders and bills of materials (BOM).
Quality Control: Perform visual inspections and use AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) machines to ensure proper component placement and solder quality.
Troubleshooting: Identify, resolve, and document minor machine malfunctions to minimize downtime.
Maintenance: Perform daily/weekly preventative maintenance on machines.
Documentation: Record production data, maintenance, and defects.
Job Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience as an SMT operator or in electronics manufacturing is strongly preferred.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and basic computer skills.
Knowledge: Understanding of electronic components and, in some cases, soldering skills
